SledgeHammer!

I picked up my latest wine club last week and as today is Malbec Day (really, it is), I opened up the SledgeHammer El Gaucho Malbec. It's Argentinean and a nice Malbec. A cherry flavor, with a smokey finish.  El Gaucho refers to the Argentinean cowboy and appropriately, they recommend this with beef.

This is a great deal as part of the wine club as it retails at Simply Wine for $18.99. A definite splurge, but very worth it.

So, be sure to sing through the Peter Gabriel song and let the "El Gaucho" bring back memories of "The Three Amigos" as I most certainly did [though to be fair, that was El Gaupo] and enjoy this Malbec!
